The Rainbow.

A rainbow is never the same to me anymore. The rainbow, was our metaphor for what we had lost. It was something for Mowgli to look at and find hope in. To feel loved always. To know that now matter how long and how hard it rains, when the sun peeks out from behind the dark dark clouds it always creates Magic- Magic that epitomizes the happy times that we had as a whole family. That people may leave but Love and happy memories stick around. Here is an ode to Ponyo and Mowgli, whose life I hope will always be filled with love and colour.

Draw me a house,
Not too big, not too small.
Fill it with people
Some short, some tall.

Draw me a tree next to it,
With flowers waiting to bloom,
2 little children like to climb it,
So leave some room.

Through the kitchen window,
Make sure they can see their grandmother,
Add smiles to all the faces
Brighter the better !

Draw me a rainbow,
sitting right behind this scene,
Fill it with infinite colours
Like it is caught in a dream,

Tint the picture
with shades of love
Add plenty of joy
If you know how.

Draw me a picture
of this house and the tree
Of the people, the smells and the sounds,
If you know how to draw a memory.
