Okay continuing the list. This morning one of my collegues mentioned that he has observed that I seemed to be in awe of this guy who works with us. So a discussion ensued. Here is a list of my favourite characters, fictional men I have fallen in love with at various points in this young life, in no particular order
1. Tom Cruise as Maverick - Top Gun
2. Rahul Bose as Gautam Ghosh - Mr and Mrs Iyer
3. Amitabh as Vijay - Deewar/ Trishul
4. Mr Darcy - Pride and Prejudice
5. Gail Wynand - The Fountainhead
Okay the rest are superhuman but I can't not list them
1. Keanu Reeves as Neo - Matrix
2. Sirius Black - Prisoner of Azkaban
3. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine - XMen
4. Viggo as Aragon - Lord of the Rings
5. Pierce Brosnan as and in - James Bond
As you can see, my ideal man is a myth :-) , If he is real then he is taken. :-)

7 Comments:
I adore Rahul Bose in Mr and Mrs Iyer. I was blown away with AB in Deewar. But none of the others is among my fav list.
I'd list some here --
1) Al Pacino in Scent of a woman as Col Frank Slade.
2) Jack Nicholson (Col Jessup) in A few good men.
3) Edward Norton in Americal History X
4) Chandar in Gunahon ka Devta
5) Anupam Kher in Daddy
6) Charles Strickland in Moon and Sixpence
7) Meursalt in The Stranger
8) Atticus Finch in To kill a mockingbird.
9) Pathan in Kabuliwala
Many more are there as well. You can see that my fav men are those who have a strong value-driven ethic :)
