No childhood is complete without rhymes and poems. Here are two I wrote to welcome 2 very dear and special babies into this world. Just wanted to post them here for my own record and for you to re-use if you like :)

Lion King Theme Shower

"Welcome to my Shower"
Says the cub from his lair,
"It's only a matter of time,
before I join you out there!"

"Come and wish my parents,
all the joy that can be,
As they embark upon this
Adventure filled safari."

"2:00pm to 5:00 pm
At what I call 'My Den'
There will be games and snacks for you,
So Let the fun begin !!!"

Pink and Blue Shower

"Bye Bye winter",
Says the little baby, dear
"I'll wait it out,
Until spring is here."

It's almost March,
and at the end the baby is due,
The only question is,
Should mom paint the room Pink or Blue ?

So wear either colour,
That lets mom know what you think,
There will be a special prize,
For a man dressed in Pink.

We will have little bites to share
and some games too,
It's a celebration for the mommy to be,
So we look forward to seeing you.
