Sweet Spot

My new addiction on Tv - Scrubs. An alternate view of the scariest place on earth - a Hospital. And a funny tone at that. Some crazy truths about life, love, friendship, relationships and death as told by JD, or Dr. Acula :).

A gentle reminder at the end of each long day that I should'nt take life so seriously. Or myself :). Everyday successes are in small things, like a great workout and coming home and religiously drinking that glass of milk I hate by blending stawberries with it and saying "Wow!" Making myself that perfect sandwich, sinking into my couch, watching anything that makes me laugh and singing out loud " I can't do this all on my own.. No I'm no...., I'm no superman!" when Scrubs comes on.

Every night that I spend without grudging that you are not here, and feeling lousy about missed opportunities and the two years that we have to pull ourselves through, ; Every night that I spend counting my everyday tiny blessings, enjoying my sandwich and milkshakes, crossing days off the calender with a smile, remembering the sunset on my way out of work and feeling great about the choices we have made, feeling brave and excited about how much we have to accomplish in the next two years; On every one of those nights I feel like Superman! :)

Tonight I feel like Superman !

  • Scrubs got really boring around Season 4. It got totally ripped on at last night's Emmy's too.

  • It's interesting - when we were together at SPCE, I hardly knew you - just had a perception and that could have been way off the mark. But now, after reading your blog, I feel like I know you SO MUCH better... :)So mellow, so warm, there is such lightness to your writing! It's almost like meeting someone new... :)
